Nebulizers

Nebulizers are used for treatment of cystic fibrosis, asthma, COPD and other respiratory diseases. The common technical principal for all nebulizers is to either use oxygen, compressed air or ultrasonic power. This will break up medical solutions into small aerosol droplets for direct inhalation from the mouthpiece of the device.

To obtain a nebulizer, you need a prescription from your doctor. Home nebulizers vary in cost, ranging from about $50 and up, plus the cost of accessories.
